Ribbon Cutting to recognize renewable energy project

solar-arrayDow City, Iowa, November 06, 2013 – On November 19th, Wind and Solar Specialists will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for Dan and Carla Head in recognition of their investment in a newly installed 41.60 kilowatt renewable energy system for their farming operation.

The event will provide Dan and Carla the opportunity to present their newly completed renewable energy project which combines the use of solar and wind to friends, vendors, colleagues, state and federal political representatives, media, and the public. The event will allow the attendees a chance to tour the project and to learn more about investing in renewable energy for their own business, agricultural operation and/or personal energy consumption.

The general public, farm owners, businesses, state and local political representatives, and the media are all invited to attend the event to be held at 2:00 P. M. – 3:30 P. M., Tuesday, November 19th at the project location 1630 Q Ave, Dow City, Iowa 51528. The agenda for the event will be: welcome from the event hosts, ribbon cutting, tour of project, and a question and answer session.
